Discord Now Has Server Folders

Sever Folders joined the server. Hold my beer.

Discord has finally done it! Discord heard the demands of its community and has today added server folders. This will allow users to easily manage the servers they have joined. I know for a fact there are some gamers out there with hundreds of Discord servers, some big, some small – but no matter the size, they all deserve to be packed into a tidy folder.

To use this new functionality, simply drag and drop a server on top of another one to create a folder.

You can then right click your folder and choose Folder Settings. This will open the above prompt. Here you can set the Folder’s name and choose a colour to make your folders really unique.

This update also came with some much needed performance improvements. Discord state they’ve “shredded our CPU and memory usage” coupled with a welcomed improvement to their screen share functionality. All in all, a solid update from Discord – they’ve finally delivered the dreams of its users!
